1. Departure from Ensenada
We begin our journey heading toward the Osorno Volcano, ascending by vehicle to the mountain refuge located at 1,200 meters above sea level.
2. Start of the Ascent
From the refuge, we start hiking on volcanic scoria. This steady climb takes approximately 3 hours, revealing stunning panoramic views of Llanquihue Lake and the Andes Mountain Range, with several snow-covered peaks and volcanoes surrounding us.
3. Arrival at the Glacier
Reaching the glacier, your guide will equip you with crampons and trekking poles to safely continue onto the ice.
